Int. - Sr. Civil Engineer
Job OverviewWe are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with industrial sector experience to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and analysis of various civil engineering elements, including:
- Site layout development.
- Site grading and drainage.
- Storage tank containment features and monitoring systems.
- Granular foundation designs.
- Access roads and other infrastructure components.
- Underground utility lines and drainage systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure all designs comply with relevant regulatory standards and client specifications.
- Prepare detailed engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications for construction.
- Collaborate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Conduct site visits for field investigations and provide construction support.
- Evaluate geotechnical reports to assess soil conditions and recommend appropriate foundation solutions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.), with registration through APEGA, APEGS, or PEO preferred.
- 2-6 years of experience in executing EPCM or industrial plant projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil/structural engineering standards and industry regulations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent communication, multitasking, and teamwork skills.
